Hello, where did you get Dakota? The person that I got my long haired german shepherd from sent me this same exact picture of your dog saying this was the father of my puppy.
Hi, I'm afraid that whoever you got your puppy from has told you a lie. We got Dakota as a puppy many, many years ago. He fathered one litter of puppies about 9 or 10 years ago, but has never fathered anymore puppies. He actually passed away about 2 months ago after being "down" for several months (hips, bladder, bowel problems). I promise you this is a picture that I took of our dog, Dakota, in our front yard and anybody who claims he is their dog or the father of puppies is not telling the truth. Sorry that has happened to you!
Thank you. Apparently they must have copied your dog's picture from Google Images. I don't understand why they would have mislead me in thinking this was a picture of my puppy's father. The mother and father were not there when we picked up our puppy, so we had no idea what the parents looked like. We just trusted that they were honest people. Sorry for the inconvenience.
No inconvenience at all. Hope I didn't sound rude. I just wanted to assure you, in case you asked them about it, that this is truly a picture of our dog & that I didn't copy a picture of their dog off the Internet. I'm interested in what state you live in. We live in Missouri & Dakota always lived here. He was a welcome addition to our bar when we had it - the Elbow Inn in Devils Elbow, MO
Hello, I am from Pennsylvania. I am going to contact the owner of the father and find out why they mislead me. Thank you for corresponding whith me. Dakota was a beautiful dog.
